Here in Britain the celebrity news and gossip columns, not to mention the sports pages, have been full of the infedilities of ex-England football captain, John Terry.
He has been revealed as a serial womaniser and adulterer, having had an affair with the partner of one of his best friends and England team mate. His wife was last week (early February 2010) photographed on holiday amidst reports that she was about to “dump” him.
But now it seems she is staying with him “for the sake of the children”. His six-figure per week salary as a top footballer had nothing to do with it, then. Well, maybe, and maybe not.
